It's now possible to selectively filter words from word cloud and text questions whilst the poll is being conducted.
When your word cloud poll is open you will see the responses appear on your dashboard in immediately.
The left portion of the screen shows all of the responses as they come in and the right portion of the screen displays a useful summary showing the frequency of each word.
If you spot a word you would rather not appear in your word cloud all you need to do is click on it. The word will then appear faded out and you will see it is removed from the word frequencies list.
If the word you are filtering out has been sent in repeatedly you don't need to worry about finding all the other instances of it, we automatically filter it and all other occurrences of it from appearing.
If you made a mistake and want to bring the word back all you need to do is simply click on it again.
When you close the poll you can still continue to filter messages before you publish the results. However, once you have published the results to your audience you will no longer be able to make changes to the reponses.
In the report generated after your meeting you will still be able to see all words filtered or not.
Filtering for text questions works in much the same way but with one crucial difference. Rather than just removing the word from being displayed it removes the entire response.
The intention for text questions is that a sentence of text is submitted so just taking out one word could lose the context of the response. This is why we take the whole message away when filtering from text questions
